Pinning puts a Library item on your dashboard. Each pin is its own copy with its own settings, so you can pin the same tile once for each market. You can also save one figure from a report as a tile of your own.
Before you start
- You need the Library (Enterprise plan) and the View Analytics Dashboard permission. See Find your way around the Library.
- Pins are personal. Pinning or unpinning changes only your dashboard.
Pin a full-width report
- Open Library and find the report.
- Optional: expand it and set the date range and filters you want on the dashboard.
- Click the pin icon on the report's row. The icon turns green and Pinned to your dashboard shows under the page title.
To unpin it, click the green pin icon again.
Pin a tile or half-width widget
Tiles and half-width widgets have a pin menu, because you may want more than one copy.
- Open Library, click the Widgets tab and find the widget.
- Optional: expand it and set its period and markets.
- Click the pin icon and choose:
- Pin with current settings (shown as Pin while the row is collapsed): one copy with the settings you see.
- Pin for each market: one copy per market in your organization, each named after its market (for example "Occupancy · UDFM") and sorted by market. The other settings are copied to every one.
- Unpin every copy: removes all copies of this widget from your dashboard. This shows only when the widget is pinned.

Pinning the same settings a second time updates the existing copy instead of adding another.
Save a figure as a tile
Some reports let you save one figure as a small tile of your own. The tile re-runs the report with the filters and exclusions you had when you saved it.
- Open the report and set its date range and filters.
- Click Save as tile in the report's toolbar.
- In Save as a dashboard tile, fill in:
- Title: prefilled from the report and its filters. Up to 120 characters.
- Size: Tile (one third width) or Half.
- Figure: the number the tile shows (see the table below).
- Row: shown when the figure is "A chosen row's total" or a chosen row's average or count. Pick the vendor or market.
- Compare with: Nothing, Prior period (same length, immediately before) or Prior year (same dates, a year earlier).
- Click Save tile. "Saved and pinned to your dashboard." confirms it.
| Report | Figures you can save |
|---|---|
| Total Vendor Gross Sales | Grand total, A chosen row's total, Latest month, Number of rows (vendors / markets) |
| Average Vendor Gross Sales | Period average per vendor-day, A chosen row's average, Latest month's average |
| Count of Vendors Selling | Distinct vendors over the period, A chosen row's count, Latest month's count |
| Vendor Stall Fees | Grand total, A chosen row's total, Latest month |
| Average Vendor Stall Fees | Period average fees per vendor-day, A chosen row's average, Latest month's average |
| Sales Distribution | Median, Mean, P95, Population size |
| Vendor Benchmark | Average per vendor-day, Median per vendor-day, Vendor count, Vendor-day count |
| Vendor Watch List | Vendors lowered, Vendors boosted, Vendors on the list |
Other reports have no Save as tile button.

Manage your saved tiles
Saved tiles are listed under My tiles at the top of the Library's Widgets tab. Hover over a tile to see two buttons:
- The pin icon pins or unpins the tile.
- × deletes the tile. It also leaves your dashboard. You cannot undo this.
Click a saved tile to open its report with the tile's filters applied. The report says Opened from a link (a saved tile's view). Click Back to my saved view to return to your own settings.
How pins appear on the dashboard
- Pins show on your dashboard in the order you pinned them. A tile takes one third of the width, a half-width widget half, and a full report the whole width. At phone width they stack.
- Hover over a pinned item to use its controls: Tile settings (period and filters) on tiles and half-width widgets, a + menu with Pin another copy with these settings and Pin for each market, collapse, Unpin from dashboard, and Drag to reorder.
- A pinned tile keeps its period tokens and filters hidden until you open its settings. Changes you make there apply to that copy only.
- If your role has a default dashboard, you see "Showing your role's default dashboard". Your first pin, unpin or drag makes it your own copy.
- If an owner later removes a report from your role, a saved tile built on it says it is no longer available and offers Unpin.
